Welcome to Students Networks! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Students Networks social networking and marketplace platform (“Platform”). Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using the Platform. You agree to be bound by these Terms by accessing or using the Platform. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
- Acceptance of Terms
1.1 By accessing or using the Platform, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age. Suppose you are accessing or using the Platform on behalf of a company or organization. In that case, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.
1.2 We may modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective upon posting on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any such modifications shall constitute your consent to such modifications. - Account Creation
2.1 To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. - User Content
3.1 The Platform allows users to post, upload, share, and otherwise make available various types of content, such as text, images, videos, and files (“User Content”).
3.2 You retain ownership of any User Content that you post on the Platform. However, by posting User Content, you grant Students Networks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such User Content in connection with the operation of the Platform and our business.
3.3 You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant the above license and that your User Content does not infringe or violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. - Prohibited Conduct
4.1 When using the Platform, you agree not to:
a. Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
b. Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, or otherwise objectionable;
c. Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities;
d. Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity;
e. Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or the servers or networks connected to the Platform;
f. Use any robot, spider, or other automated means to access the Platform for any purpose without our express written permission;
g. Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from the Platform;
h. Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Platform. - Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 The Platform and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and other materials, are owned or licensed by Students Networks and are protected by intellectual property laws.
5.2 You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on the Platform, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with the prior written consent of Students Networks. - Privacy
6.1 We collect, use, and disclose your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. - Disclaimer of Warranties
7.1 The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Students Networks does not warrant that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted or that any defects will be corrected. - Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Students Networks and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of the Platform. - Termination
9.1 In our sole discretion, we may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform without notice and for any reason, including but not limited to violating these Terms. - Governing Law
10.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflicts of law principles. - Entire Agreement
11.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Students Networks regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, understandings, representations, and warranties, both written and oral.
